Joe became an Army Master Fitness Trainer in 2000, but his approach to fitness is more "mellow" than his background may suggest. He has a broad range of experience to develop training plans for all levels of fitness. He is a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), he has Red Cross training in CPR/AED and is insured by Hoffman Insurance Services, Inc...
Joe's other military experiences include graduating from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Airborne, Ranger and Air Assault Schools. He served tours in Korea and Iraq. After leaving the Army Joe earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration and worked for military and veteran advocacy groups. He currently volunteers with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Joe trains people at all levels of fitness from high performers to those who are starting from scratch or from a break in training routines.
Overall, I can't recommend Joe enough, especially if you're looking for someone who will work with you and provide support/encouragement but not pressure. He has a military background, so maybe if you are looking for more of a drill sergeant he could do that too... but it's not what our family wanted, and he's been a great fit for our style!
